Oppo is known to introduce smartphones, that are more premium compared to rivals. Oppo handsets are more decent and look more expensive than others. Reno 2Z is identical to Reno 2, we loved the looks of Reno 2 in Luminous Black, and Reno2Z follows the same. The device looks and feels much more "premium" than you would hope to receive similar budgets. This Oppo Reno 2Z review will give you detailed information about the feature and why it’s a must phone.

Oppo Reno 2Z- Design

All 3 Oppo phones in Reno series look identical at the 1st glance, but Oppo Reno 2Z is little-bit bigger than its predecessors due to a larger display. The device has all-display front with thin bezels. A 6.5" screen with AMOLED display gives excellent viewing from every side. The screen had in-display fingerprint unit.

Another thing that differentiates the Reno 2Z with its predecessor and rivals is its selfie camera. The pop-up camera module is added, illuminated on both sides. The device also offers a side colour change for this pop-up camera, which is also a smarter addition. The power button is on the right side, whereas the volume button is on the left side. Oppo Mobiles are more frequent in terms of style updates; the Reno2 is no exception. The vertical stripe on the backside is eye-catching, thanks to an accent that almost looks like two-tone led.

Oppo Reno 2Z Performance & Battery life

Since, Oppo Reno 2Z is one of few phones with MediaTek Helio P90 SoC, chipset, whereas many other devices from Oppo have Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors. This device performed an absolute best in every aspect. The overall performance while scrolling is impressive and will remain the same even if you keep on scrolling. Multitasking is only a breeze with 8GM of RAM, which is meant to make things quicker. The other units such as pop-up camera module, in-display fingerprint recognition is also impressive.

The pop-up module also supports facial recognition and make the phone smoother. New facial recognition technology use 15,000 facial dots to recognize the specific face in any condition. This makes Oppo Reno 2Z more secure.

The battery is one strength of Reno 2Z and manages to go beyond a day while playing PUBG, taking Photos, and periodic Web browsing. Although the phone does not support a full charge, it almost takes an hour to charge it completely.

Oppo Reno 2Z - Camera

Quad Camera

  • 48MP IMX586 sensor with EIS
  • 8MP Wide-Angle Lens
  • 2+2 (Mono & Portrait)
  • 16MP front Camera (Pop-up Module)

The camera setups are getting more complex. Oppo Reno 2Z comes with a quad-camera design. The primary camera has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, but no optical image stabilization is added.

The Bottom Line

Reno 2Z is one best phone from Reno series. The device has a powerful processor, 4000mAh battery, and AMOLED display. Reno2Z brings mid-range devices into the original mid-range category. The device works perfectly well, and it is a complete smartphone built with maximum precision. The Oppo store has more devices, which are affordable.
